Stuart A. Cohen, a native of Queens, New York, has practiced
real estate law in the State of Florida since 1980.
After graduating from C.W. Post College with a B.A.
degree in 1973, Mr. Cohen was employed by the New York City Police
Department from 1973 to 1979 where he held a number of civilian staff
assignments, beginning in a precinct station house and ending at
one
of the legal divisions and as an aide to an assistant deputy commissioner.
In 1979, Stuart Cohen obtained both a masters degree in criminal
justice
(M.P.S., C.W. Post College) and a law degree (J.D., Brooklyn Law
School.)
Mr. Cohen was admitted to both the Florida and New
York bars in 1980.
Stuart Cohen concentrates his practice in real estate
law. He represents lenders, as well as buyers and sellers, and covers
all aspects of real estate transactions, from contract through post-closing,
including title insurance. Stuart Cohen is an attorney-agent of
the
Attorneys' Title Insurance Fund and a member of the Broward County
Attorney's Real Estate Council.
